Hi,
I have been trying to connect to a phone with bluetooth to use dial-up
networking.
Pairing is successful, but the connection drops after a few seconds.
No mobile connection shows up on network-manager.
I have attached some output from syslog, and the main error seems to be:
Oct 16 17:37:47 luke-Satellite-L635 kernel: [ 121.005940] Bluetooth:
hci0: last event is not cmd complete (0x0f)
Oct 16 17:37:47 luke-Satellite-L635 bluetoothd[809]:
src/adapter.c:dev_disconnected() Device 00:19:2D:04:02:64
disconnected, reason 2
The bluetooth adapter is recorded by lsusb as:
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd
Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
Is there anything else I should do?
I am not sure what other logs I should attach, but I will happily do so if told.
Thank you,
I neglected to give some important information, I'm sorry...
Ubuntu 18.04 x86_64
Kernel: 4.15.0.36
Bluez: 5.50 (from ppa)
Desktop: Budgie (GTK2 based) / Xfce4
Also from btmon -w.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do.
Thanks,
L
