Hi Marcel,

Thanks for you answer....

1) The sdpd is working... I test it.

# ps -ae | grep sdpd
1614 ? 00:03:15 sdpd

However I Load it and try and the same result...

2) I disable the hcid.conf (auth and encrypt) and the result is the=20
same...

I use Fedora Core 4....

Any idea?

(I think is the configuration of the SDP. But What?
All works well except when i try to connect with the SDP to obtain the=20
services.. =C2=BF=C2=BF=C2=BF??)

Best Regards,
Sir Graham.

first of all disable security mode 3 (options auth and encrypt in
hcid.conf). After that check that sdpd is still running, because it
seems that it dies or has any other problems. And of course use the
latest versions.

install the latest bluez-libs and bluez-utils from the BlueZ website.
The Fedora Core 4 packages are quite old.
