I noticed some time during the Summer there was discussion about making BlueZ
a LGPL library. Has there been any resolution to the topic?

not so far. Max is trying to get this through the Qualcomm lawyers, but
this might take time. However the new D-Bus based API might solve it
anyway, because the D-Bus API is open and it isn't restricted by any
license at all.

Regards

Marcel
