Subject: [Bluez-devel] Inquiry Scan Question

Hi All:

Is it possible to set a inquiry scanning device to respond only to devices
of certain Major Device Class(which is doing Inquiry) ?

No. The inquiry scanning device gets no information about the inquiring
device so it cannot tailor its responses based on some feature of the
inquirer.

check the HCI part of the Bluetooth specification. There is a HCI filter
command, but I think it is not possible. However maybe I am wrong.
