Subject: Re: [Bluez-devel] How to use my PC as a headset ?

It was just a very basic manipulation, not a development. When I paired my
cellphone and my pc for the first time, my cellphone asked me if I wanted to
use the other device as a headset. I just answered yes. I think the name of
the software was "bluesoleil".

Sorry I do not remember everything, I had installed windows for testing
purpose only and it is no more on my machine...

I had not thought about gammu. I have the latest stable versions of
gammu+wammu on my ubuntu, and I think it is still not possible to use it
that way...

fwiw

if you build the old btsco project, you'll get an app "a2recv" that
can listen for an a2dp stream from a cellphone. This one thing hasn't
been rewritten inside bluez.

as far as voice headset, I used to point people to gammu.org, but I
can't figure out if they are still trying to do voice or not.
