Can't get Microsoft keyboard/mouse to work on gentoo 2.6.8.1. With
patch-2.6.8-mh2.gz, I noticed the following out of dmesg...

Without the patch, it's a similar message but with this at the end...

<3>l2cap_init: L2CAP socket registration failed.

I'm a bit confused about the patch - there are gentoo users claiming to
use bluetooth without it. Does anyone know if the patch is in the gentoo
kernel, and with what version?

my patch script actually generates already a changelog file from the
Bitkeeper descriptions of the changesets. Let me think about where to
put it.

Regards

Marcel

Would it be possible to get a changelog for the 2.6.x -mh patches either
at http://www.holtmann.org/linux/kernel or
http://www.bluez.org/patches.html ?

Thanks,
Steve

my patch is for a vanilla kernel and not for a distribution specific
kernel. Try using a clean 2.6.9-mh1.

If a patch not applies cleanly without any rejects, you should be
worried and don't proceed unless you really know what you are doing.
