Hi Marcel,
I tried to use latest -mh patch, but my computer freezes when pcmcia services
wants to start.
No oops, clear freeze
Here is output from 2.4.26:

I experienced something similiar with an IBM Thinkpad. Removed AC
Adapter and Battery. Switch On. Insert Battery boot up. This helped
me, when probably somehow the ACPI/IRQ gets completely screwed up. Maybe
it solves your problem as well.
