Subject: [Bluez-users] Presentation slides are online

Hi Folks,

I made the presentation slides of my talks at the LinuxTag 2004 and the
GUUG-Fr=FChjahrsfachgespr=E4ch 2004 available as PDF. I collect all these
information on the BlueZ talks page at=20

http://www.bluez.org/talks.html

Both talks were in German and so the slides are also in German, but the
slides from the LinuxTag contains many graphics and the GUUG-FFG talk
has some command outputs in it, too. Even if you are not a German native
speaker you will find them helpful, I think.

If there is anyone who is talking about Bluetooth and Linux or something
that is BlueZ related I am happy to extend this list. Drop me a quick
note with the details.

Regards

Marcel

Hi Michal,

no way. I checked it and I broke one of mine. I can't even flash back
the original firmware.

I've upgraded D-Link revision B3 and B2 with a iMac
and both of them seem to work fine.

And Marcel,

is it possible to flash Microsoft Wireless Transceiver?

Hi Nicholas,

the D-Link revision B3 and the Allnet ALL1575 seem to work fine. There
was another one that I've tested successfully on the LinuxTag, but I
can't remember from what manufacturer it was. The revision B4 of the
D-Link is not working at the moment. Looks like an USB chip or flash
timing problem.

Some other dongles can be updated with the same file, but in the case of
only 4 Mbit flash you will get HCI 16.14 firmware and not the HCI 18.1
with HID proxy support.

Regards

Marcel

You now have some experience based data, which dongles accept the signed
apple hciproxy firmware and which one render unusable?

nicholas
