Hi,
i'm using Bluez Utils 3.5 and am having problems when trying to pair my
PDA.
I did fire passkey-agent --default XXXX and the PDA is not being able to
pair.
Any hint?
Regards,
Paulo

Hi Paulo,

set it to "user" and restart hcid. After that everything should be fine.

I overlooked that in the first place. Since this is an incoming security
mode 3 connection you need to set "security user" in hcid.conf to make
it use the passkey agent. I assumed that was default, but actually it
was not. Which is fixed now.

for some reason, it is using the PIN code for incoming connections from
the hcid.conf and not the passkey-agent. Check you syslog files if the
passkey agent got really registered or if it failed.
