Having just created and filled a 64bit file system, I ran e2fsck on it,
and keep getting this message printed shortly after "Pass 1" is printed.
It doesn't seem to cause any obvious bad things. Is it dangerous?
Adding some debugging prints to e2fsck, I discovered the error occurs
with inode 7 (the reside inode) at line 869 of e2fsck/pass1.c.
Also, the first fsck ever on the newly filled filesystem (which was run
with -D) produced a 1-block error:

Just for posterity, can you say what parameters you used on mkfs,
as well as include the "dumpe2fs -h" output for the filesystem so we can
see features, geometry, etc? Then it can probably be reproduced
and analyzed.
