I was reading on the mailing list that the AR9002 chipset supposedly has
GPL firmware somewhere. Does anybody know where? And is it free software
compliant or are they including the bad stuff within the GPL firmware'd.

I have gotten the card to work in Ubuntu. I am working on getting it
working in Trisquel (a free software distribution, if there is free
firmware for it).

the source for the firmware is internally maintained and you can only
get the updated binary there.
sorry I am not aware of the license thing.
