Hello all,
As I looked at 2.5.45's Documentation/Changes file, I noticed that
the gcc version is still at 2.95.3 . Is that changing to 3.2 , along
with the other minimum tool versions?

Well, the Changes file clearly states that one should *at least* upgrade
to the versions mentioned. I still (happily) build kernels with gcc
2.95.3, so I see no point that the minimum requirement should become
gcc-3.2, don't you think?
