kasprintf() returns a pointer to dynamically allocated memory
which can be NULL upon failure. Ensure the allocation was successful
by checking the pointer validity.
phylink_bringup_phy needs to be done, otherwise network interface is
likely to be dead, so when irq_str is NULL, just print an empty string.
