Subject: pata_via in 2.6.19-rc6: UDMA/66 hdd downgraded to UDMA/33

Hello,

After upgrading to 2.6.19-rc6 and enabling experimental support of
pata_via noticed that my hdd was downgraded to UDMA/33:

Before (2.6.18-rc & via82cxxx):

BTW: is it possible to do something with this annoying long delay with
the "port is slow to respond, please be patient" message? :)

Looks like a cable detect error.

This is a known bug in the libata core at the moment

No, but it does appear to be a bug. Can you send me an lspci -vvxxx

Oh, indeed. Forcing ATA_CBL_PATA80 brings back expected UDMA66 speed.
